Deceuninck lends €120 million for sustainable development

Deceuninck will increase recyclable materials at its recycling plant in Belgium. The brand signed a new Sustainability Linked Revolving Credit Facility of 120 million euros.

The financing for the next five years will accelerate the company's investments in sustainability. The Deceuninck Group is committed to

• reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
• increase the output volume of material at the recycling plant,
• improve of a labour safety indicators.

Today, window brands are constantly investing in sustainable development. For example, Rehau has announced the expansion of a recycling plant for old windows in Germany.

According to the Yale University team, the Deceuninck Group remained in russia, but stopped investing. In its 2022 report, Deceuninck reported a complete impairment of the company's main tangible assets in Russia. It also states that the Group does not operate in Ukraine and that its sales in the country in 2022 were insignificant.
