sedak isomax creates solid facades with thermal insulation at wall-level

Sedak preyed on the BAU 2023 global building trade fair to re-introduce the sedak isomax vacuum insulation panel. Future construction, resources and recycling are the key themes of this year's BAU. The company notes that high-performance glass helps to achieve these goals.

Sedak specialises in the production of large insulating and safety glass. And sedak isomax is available in sizes up to 3.6 m x 20 m. But, the thermal insulation of the glass unit with the integrated panel is outstanding: Ug up to 0.23 W/m²K.
For comparison, a 52 mm wide double-glazed unit with two i-glasses, warm spacing, filled with argon, has an Ug value of 0.52 W/m2-K.

Vacuum insulating panels are placed in the space between the panes in the opaque zone. They contain a gas- and vapour-tight film. The Ug value depends on the proportion of opaque areas.

All-glass facades are rarely like this. They are simply designed to look that way. Opaque areas hide columns, beams and other structural elements. sedak isomax allows you to make a facade truly all-glass and insulated. Transparent and opaque sections can be freely combined and arranged.

The isomax system improves the thermal performance of glass facades, which supports the global trend towards increased energy efficiency. Speaking of Ukraine, due to the Russian aggression, safety glass is also at the forefront of our market. Thus, Glass Trösch Ukraine has installed new processing lines at its glass tempering facilities.
