NSG Group, the global glass manufacturer that owns the Pilkington brand, is finally leaving the russian market. The company has found a buyer for its subsidiaries. The press centre of Nippon Sheet Glass has reported this.
At the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, NSG Group suspended its trading activities in the russian market. The restrictions were to remain in place for as long as the invasion lasted. The company is now announcing the final sale of its subsidiaries. They belong to the NSG Group joint venture registered in the Netherlands.
SP Glass Holdings BV has already signed an agreement to sell its russian subsidiaries. The agreement is pending regulatory approval.
