New European Bauhaus will welcome projects and concepts for rebuilding Ukraine

The call for applications for the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Prizes 2024 started in early October. For the first time, the organisers of the competition will welcome applications for projects and concepts for Ukraine in addition to EU member states and the Western Balkans.

The 'Special Recognition to Ukraine's Reconstruction and Recovery Effort' prizes will recognise projects that contribute to Ukraine's recovery in line with the New European Bauhaus values of sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusivity.
Earlier, NEB, together with the Covenant of Mayors East, Ro3kvit and ReThink, announced a programme to build the capacity of Ukrainian municipalities to prepare for reconstruction.

The 2024 Prize will reward existing projects and concepts by young talent in four categories:


20 winners will receive prizes of up to €30,000.

Applications are accepted until 10 November 2023 via the official New European Bauhaus Prizes platform↗️.
The winners will be announced during the New European Bauhaus festival, which will take place in Brussels from 17 to 21 April 2024.
