NürnbergMesse and ift Rosenheim will present a special trade fair called "climate.safe.building" to showcase sustainable windows, doors and facades for protection against extreme climatic conditions. It will take place during FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024 from 19 to 22 March.
The ift Rosenheim Institute for Window Technology has previously developed a methodology for assessing the "climate safety" of components and the "climate.safe.build" label. The assessment includes product and company (manufacturing) criteria. And now ift Rosenheim and its co-exhibitors will show what sustainable, climate-friendly building products look like:
- A façade system with integrated shading systems, ventilation flap and intelligent control (Heroal).
- Waterproof tilt-and-turn PVC window for installation in an opening (IEA).
- Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly wood-aluminium window with a flush sash 50 mm wide (Lokve).
- Climate-resistant PVC window with vacuum glass, heat-reflective film, Smart Control sun protection and recovery ventilation (Oknoplast).
- Innovative external installation with securely mounted supports and component sealing (Meesenburg).
- 100% recycled material for sealing systems (Semperit) and aluminium profile systems (Wicona).
- Innovative sun protection in the form of a combination of external roller shutters and a vertical awning (Aluprof) with high savings potential for heating and cooling.
The focus will be on sustainable production with reduced CO2 emissions during production and use, ease of repair and maintenance, and protection against extreme climatic conditions.
