Construction companies participated in the "Learning Together: Public-Private Partnership in Action" training, organized by the EdUP project. Seventeen construction companies learned how to practically engage with the vocational education system to meet their staffing needs, including how to establish collaboration with vocational institutions.

According to Serhiy Sorokun, Director of Glas Trösch Ukraine, the information received helped structure their understanding of vocational education and plan future cooperation with schools.

The training not only covered practical examples of successful cooperation between businesses and vocational institutions but also addressed common mistakes in such partnerships. To secure qualified personnel, cooperation between businesses and vocational institutions must be mutually beneficial. Vocational institutions aim to graduate students who can find jobs in their field, while businesses seek to hire skilled workers who can perform their tasks effectively.

Earlier, the EdUP project signed a memorandum with the "Ukrainian Manufacturers of Light-Transmitting Structures Association" to improve vocational education.
