The Ukrainian window industry is well-positioned to export products to other countries. This was announced by Member of Parliament Olena Shuliak at the TeamWIN business conference “Window and Glass Days in Ukraine” 2024. The window and door industry has been classified as one of Ukraine’s “strong domestic capabilities.” According to Oleg Kessler, head of the “Window Consulting” project, PVC window exports increased by 30% in the first nine months of 2024 compared to the same period last year.

The presentation highlighted the high export potential of Ukraine’s window and door industry. The economic efficiency of imports also ranks high, meaning that importing window products is profitable. According to Ms. Shuliak, this suggests that the industry can secure the necessary materials to maintain production at a high level. It was frequently noted at the conference that foreign clients are satisfied with the quality of Ukrainian windows.

During the panel discussion “The Aluminum SPC Market: Where Is It Headed?” participants expressed that while there was plenty of work in the domestic market, there had been little focus on setting up transparent structure exports. Now, with a decline in domestic demand, entering foreign markets is proving beneficial for local companies. Rodion Losiev, sales director of “Reynaers Aluminum” LLC, mentioned that the company’s partners (not only from Ukraine) are particularly interested in entering the U.S. market.
