Effective 1 January 2025, AGC Glass Europe will include Sicherheitsglastechnik Oelsnitz GmbH (SGT), a European manufacturer of safety glass.
The German company SGT produces safety glass used in glass facades and building interiors.
According to AGC’s press office, this acquisition strengthens AGC Glass Europe's European network, enhances its value chain, and reinforces its position as a leading supplier of advanced glass solutions. SGT’s production facilities in Oelsnitz will continue operating without interruption.
By integrating SGT’s operations, AGC further solidifies its global standing in the façade projects business, enabling AGC INTERPANE to deliver all types of complex structures and coatings.
