ift Rosenheim Showcases Sustainable Building Products at BAU 2025

At the global construction trade fair BAU 2025, ift Rosenheim, in collaboration with Messe München and 23 co-exhibitors, organized a special exhibition titled "climate.proof.build." The stand showcased 15 exhibits demonstrating cutting-edge technologies for climate-resilient construction.

The primary goal of the exhibition was to highlight how building materials and designs can enhance protection against extreme weather conditions while reducing environmental impact.

Exhibits featured included:

• Flood-resistant entrance doors (Moralt) and insulated basement windows with backwater protection (Aco).
• Barrier-free external doors made of corrosion-resistant steel with professional drainage systems (Aco/Athmer/Otto-Stumm, Otto-Stumm/VetroTech).
• Windows with integrated solar shading, natural ventilation, and sound insulation (Eilenburger Fensterbau).
• Windows made of recycled PVC and composite materials, with switchable glass technology (Rehau).
• Metal windows with automated and manual drives (Gröninger/Texino/VEKA).
• Window drives with decentralized ventilation systems (Siegenia).
• Low-maintenance wood-aluminium windows with integrated solar shading systems (Stemeseder).
• Energy-efficient wood-aluminium windows (Lokve).
• Automated solar shading systems (RetroSolar).
• Windows with anti-vandalism protection (Timm Fensterbau).
• Wood-aluminium façades with solar panels (Schindler).
• Fire-resistant glass with reduced CO₂ emissions and lower weight (Vetrotech).
• A hail resistance testing device (ift MessTec).

Additional sustainable windows, doors, and façades designed for protection against extreme climatic conditions were also presented by NürnbergMesse and ift Rosenheim at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024.
