profine GmbH has announced the acquisition of Profilink, a company specialising in the production of aluminium and PVC window and door systems. According to the official statement from profine, the deal includes all of Profilink's operations, including production lines, the Profilink brand, and the marketing, sales, and development teams. Moving forward, the company's operations will be integrated under the international KÖMMERLING brand.
Profilink has over 30 years of experience in the South-East European market. According to Theodor Linkin, owner of LINKIN Ltd., the company is confident that profine will be able to expand its established market presence on an international scale. Profine emphasises that the acquisition enhances its portfolio of aluminium and PVC profile systems and aligns with its growth strategy for the European market.
Dr Peter Mrosik, owner and CEO of profine GmbH, said the acquisition of Profilink is a “clear signal of our intention to expand our aluminium business throughout Europe”. This is the company’s second such acquisition within a year: in 2024, the profine Group became the owner of Dutch aluminium profile systems manufacturer EFP International B.V..
The profile systems market continues to consolidate. Another deal was recently concluded on the UK market: ASSA ABLOY acquired Senior Architectural Systems.
Following the transaction, LINKIN Ltd. will focus on developing its other businesses in aluminium and PVC extrusion and material recycling.
