Tender announced for major renovation of centre for installation of transparent structures in Kyiv

On 25 July 2025, a tender was published on the Prozorro platform for the major renovation of a facility within the training and production workshops of the Kyiv Vocational College of Civil Engineering. The site will be used to set up a training and practical centre for the installation and assembly of transparent structures. The expected value of the works is UAH 1,414,000 including VAT. The deadline for submitting tender proposals is 11 August 2025.

The procurement is co-funded by the European under the Ukraine Facility instrument. The project includes the installation of modern systems for the training centre:

• installation of doors made with the Reynaers Masterline 8HI profile system and 50 mm insulating glass units (6i-16arTd-6-16arTd-6i)
• use of WinkHaus fittings and AV3 locks
• flooring with polymer-cement coatings with quartz filler
• wall cladding with porcelain stoneware
• interior plastering, painting, plumbing and electrical works

The project also includes track lighting, acrylic paints, primers, modern sockets and other equipment necessary to create a fully functional training environment.

Window replacement at the future centre is already underway. This was funded as charitable support by members of the Ukrainian Association of Transparent Structure Manufacturers.

Student enrolment at the new training centre is scheduled for 2026. It will become part of the national WindowED project, which supports the development of vocational education in the window manufacturing and installation sector.
