The Energy Efficiency Fund announced the update of maximum specific costs of materials and construction works within the “VidnovyDIM” programme. The changes reflect current market prices and apply to new applications submitted by participants of the housing recovery programme for dwellings damaged by Russian aggression.

Among the measures eligible for compensation are replacement and repair of transparent structures: windows, balcony units, curtain walls and doors. The list of works includes dismantling of damaged structures, installation of new units, insulation of junctions, finishing of reveals and window sills, as well as replacement of fittings and insulating glass units. To receive compensation, photo documentation of the damage and of the completed works is mandatory.

The new maximum costs are:

The programme also covers accessibility. Among the works eligible for funding are up to 150,000 UAH for the installation of ramps and lifting platforms in entrances.

The programme sets minimum technical requirements. For windows in heated premises, the frame must have an installation depth of at least 70 mm, and the insulating glass unit must be double-glazed with energy-efficient glass and filled with inert gas, or with two low-emissivity coatings and air-filled. For windows in unheated premises, the frame thickness must be at least 58 mm, and the insulating glass unit at least 24 mm.

For non-metal external doors, the door profile must have an installation width of at least 70 mm with two sealing contours along the perimeter and door hinges. For glazed doors, a double-glazed insulating glass unit at least 32 mm thick with two layers of energy-efficient glass and filled with inert gas is required. Metal doors must have thermal insulation.

The Fund emphasised that in the absence of proper photographic documentation or in case of failure to comply with technical requirements, the grant may be withheld or reduced.
