Laumann Group SE, which includes VEKA Group, announced the completion of the acquisition of the British company Epwin Group plc. The information was published in the official statement of Laumann Group SE.
Epwin Window Systems manufactures window systems in the United Kingdom and also owns Specialist Building Products Limited, known for its profile brand Spectus.

The market continues to consolidate. For example, profine GmbH previously acquired the Bulgarian profile systems manufacturer Profilink.

Laumann Group aims to strengthen its international presence, expand its product portfolio, enhance its technical and service expertise, and reinforce its position in the global market as a reliable partner to the construction industry. The acquisition is therefore a significant milestone in its long-term growth strategy.

The brands, products, and extensive distribution network of Epwin will complement the group’s operations harmoniously. This opens up opportunities for cross-selling and broader market diversification.

Laumann Group is known for its balanced approach to integrating new companies — “as much as necessary, as little as possible.” This strategy preserves the individuality of the brands and has already proven effective in previous acquisitions, including GEALAN (2014), PROCURAL (2023), and VEKA Private Limited (2025).

Chairman of the Board of Laumann Group Andreas Hartleif emphasised that the integration process will be gradual: “Both companies are strong and well positioned. We are in no hurry — it is important that the merger benefits employees, customers, and partners.”

Following the acquisition of Epwin Group, Germany’s Laumann Group becomes even more diversified in the PVC and aluminium segments — from profiles to façade solutions, surface finishes, and IT integrations.
