Reynaers Aluminium has presented on its website the SlimLine 38-HI+ window system, a new variation of the SlimLine 38 range with inward and outward opening. The system features a frame with a greater installation depth and thermal insulation performance suitable for passive buildings. Specialists were able to see the new product for the first time during the BAU Munich 2025 construction fair.
SlimLine 38-HI+ retains the characteristic minimalist steel appearance. The new system allows for the production of sashes up to 3 metres in height.
According to Reynaers, the installation depth is greater than that of the standard SlimLine 38, so the Uw value starts from 0.74 W/m²K.
SlimLine 38-HI+ is certified to RC 2 and PAS24, enhancing protection and offering users greater confidence.
The system is designed for fast and precise installation. The developers added reinforced glass supports and drainage channels for proper water management.
Reynaers Aluminium’s product management group leader, Arend Jespers, emphasised that SlimLine 38-HI+ creates new opportunities thanks to passive-level energy efficiency, recycled-content materials and a low carbon footprint. The system has been awarded the Cradle to Cradle Bronze certificate.
The company also states that the system can be combined with MasterLine 8 doors.
