SIEGENIA has announced an expansion of the PORTAL HS hardware range for lift-and-slide constructions, adding a number of components in a trend-driven black colour. The company is positioning the new additions for timber and timber-aluminium HS 4.0 systems.
In the black finish, individual components are already available, including the guide rail, the Kubus cover for the sash, and the DRIVE axxent LS soft-close unit. SIEGENIA emphasises that this option helps adapt the appearance of the construction to contemporary architecture.
Separately, SIEGENIA has announced a black ECO PASS GFK R threshold with a height of 25 mm for installation on finished floors. The company plans to launch this product on the German market in the first quarter of 2026. The threshold is suitable for timber and PVC systems and offers three installation depth options for more precise matching to the profile.

For a more “clean” appearance on the locking side, SIEGENIA also offers a new mechanism with shoot bolts in combination with the B axxent sealing strip. The strip covers the fixings of the frame components, leaving only the openings for the bolts visible on the outside. The company also notes that the mechanism supports 2–4 locking points and achieves burglary resistance up to RC3 in accordance with EN 1627.
Another addition to the range is PORTAL HS 500 for heavier sashes. According to SIEGENIA, the system allows operation with sashes weighing up to 500 kg, adds additional rollers, and includes a comfort gearbox with a spring. The manufacturer associates this version with the ECO PASS threshold to provide a more level exit to the outside.
