Giesse SpA has announced the expansion of the Champion Plus range and presented two new versions of multipoint locks for aluminium sliding doors with profiles mitred at 45°. The company positions the new products as offering increased security, ease of use and reliable performance under various operating conditions.
The Champion Plus system operates with one, two or three locking points and is compatible with profiles mitred at 90° and 45°. The design ensures tight sash contact and reliable operation of aluminium sliding doors and windows.
The Champion Plus 0–180 version is intended for concealed sliding doors. The handle mechanism with a 180° rotation allows the sash to be opened wider, which is particularly convenient for systems with panels that slide into the wall. The lock has corrosion resistance class 4 in accordance with EN 1670 and withstands more than 240 hours in a salt spray test.
Stainless Steel Champion Plus is equipped with a rod made of AISI 304 stainless steel. This version is suitable for external doors and areas exposed to moisture and air. Its corrosion resistance meets class 5 according to EN 1670 and exceeds 480 hours in salt spray testing. If required, the system can be supplemented with a faulty operation device that prevents locking when the sash is open.
Both versions retain the common features of the Champion Plus series. Each locking point withstands loads of up to 200 kg.
