ift Rosenheim has announced the organisation of the specialised climate.secure.building exhibition, which will highlight approaches to improving building security and protection against climate-related challenges. It will take place at Fensterbau Frontale 2026 in Nuremberg.
The organisers link the relevance of the event to the growing risks to critical infrastructure and the impact of weather extremes, which are increasingly threatening residential, commercial and public buildings. The exhibition focuses on the protection of windows and doors against burglary, vandalism and sabotage, as well as on reducing damage caused by heavy rainfall, hail, strong winds and heat.
Sixteen exhibitors will take part in the specialised exhibition, presenting products and services for the construction sector.
- Aluprof will present an energy-efficient sliding door system with slim profiles, a concealed threshold and high load-bearing capacity, as well as external venetian blinds with high wind resistance and insect protection, featuring smart home functions.
- Athmer will present the ift-Lab test laboratory with air, water, wind, smoke control, durability and burglar resistance tests in accordance with ISO 17025, in cooperation with ift Rosenheim.
- BSI will provide information on the development of standards, testing and certification to improve safety, product quality and sustainability.
- Finstral will demonstrate installation with an insert and a proven building connection for the fast replacement of old windows without noise or dirt.
- Gröninger Antriebstechnik will present PVC windows with an automatically controlled drive and the option of manual opening.
For ventilation automation, a window drive has been proposed that automatically tilts the window while allowing manual operation
- Heavydrive will showcase installation systems with lifting devices for transporting heavy elements.
- ift Mess Tec will demonstrate test rigs for air, water and wind, as well as equipment for testing under climatic loads and for remote testing.
- NFRC will present a window certification system based on energy performance indicators, including consumer labelling.
- Illbruck will showcase multilayer sealing tapes for building junctions with high thermal and acoustic insulation performance.
- LOKVE will present timber-aluminium windows with slim profiles and a flush sash design.
- Meesenburg will demonstrate building junction systems with high thermal insulation and burglary protection.
- Oikos Group will present serial and modular timber construction for new buildings and refurbishments.
- Schollglas will showcase vacuum insulating glass with high thermal insulation performance and a low thickness starting from 8 mm.
- SFS Group will demonstrate front-of-wall window installation systems with fall protection and verified load-bearing capacity.
- UL Solutions will present testing, certification and consultancy services to enhance the performance of construction products.
- VFF will showcase the activities of the industry association supporting window and façade manufacturers through market data, technical services and training.
The specialised exhibition will take place from 24 to 27 March 2026 in Hall 1.
As part of the exhibition, demonstrations of vandalism resistance, wind loads, installation work and window replacement will also take place at 11:00 and 15:00, allowing visitors to see products under real-life conditions.
