Deceuninck Germany GmbH has announced that its Elegant ThermoFibra entrance door system has been nominated for the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE Innovation Award 2026. The company presented a door without steel reinforcement, featuring fibreglass technology.
ThermoFibra technology reinforces the profiles with integrated fibreglass strands. These increase structural rigidity and improve thermal insulation. The manufacturer has eliminated steel reinforcement. This has reduced the door weight and made opening and closing easier.
Deceuninck states that the door offers a longer service life due to reduced load on the components. The technology also helps maintain dimensional stability during operation.
The Uf value for the frame–sash combination is 1.1 W/m²K. The Uf value for the sash with threshold is 1.5 W/m²K.
The system is part of the Elegant platform. It is fully compatible with Deceuninck lift-and-slide doors. The manufacturer also offers a matching roller shutter system. This makes it possible to design a building in a unified style.
It should be noted that Ukraine will present a national stand at Fensterbau Frontale 2026 for the first time.
