Ekran-Viknosvit presented a classic timber window at the international exhibition FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026 in Nuremberg. The manufacturer joined the national stand of Ukraine, organised by the OKNA.ua platform and the Ukrainian Manufacturers of Transparent Structures (UMTS).
A white timber window in a classic style was presented. The manufacturer used decorative elements typical of historic façades. For example, in Germany, timber windows used in the restoration of historic buildings require extensive refinement, which is a separate challenge for window companies.
The window has an installation depth of 92 mm and is made of pine. The construction is divided by a single horizontal mullion, while tilt-and-turn sash without a central mullion (stulp) are installed in the upper and lower sections.
A cornice and vertical decorative strips were placed on the exterior, manufactured on CNC milling equipment for a bespoke order. Today, the integration of 3D modelling with digital milling centres is a key element in the digitalisation of timber window production.
The construction also features a timber drip cap for water drainage. The product uses retro-milling of the lip and glazing bead, and the mullion width is 130 mm. Additionally, a cornice zone with a width of 90 mm has been bonded.
At the exhibition, Ekran-Viknosvit demonstrates that world-class products are created in Ukraine.
