The Energy Efficiency Fund has announced a temporary technical pause in accepting new applications under the Enerhodim and VidnovyDIM programmes as of 22 April 2026. At the same time, the Fund has also suspended the acceptance of applications under the GreenDIM programme.
The reasons for the pause differ between the two programmes.
Regarding Enerhodim and VidnovyDIM, the Fund is transitioning to a new financing model within the framework of the European Ukraine Facility instrument. The Fund уточнює that the pause is not related to a lack of funds. The institution is preparing the groundwork for large-scale support from the European.
Currently, the Fund is updating programme requirements and receiving clarifications from the Ukraine Facility coordinator and EU representatives. Once all issues are agreed, the Fund will announce the resumption of application intake on its official platforms.
As for the GreenDIM programme, the budget of UAH 100 million allocated for its implementation has been fully exhausted. This entire amount has already been committed to a queue of previously submitted applications. Acceptance of new applications will resume after additional funding is secured. At that point, previously submitted applications that have not yet been approved will also be reviewed.
For all applications already accepted for consideration, funds have been fully reserved. This guarantees the timely disbursement of grants to participants.
It should be noted that independent replacement of windows becomes grounds for refusal of payments; therefore, homeowners’ associations (HOAs) should act in accordance with programme requirements.
While the application intake is suspended, the Fund urges HOAs not to waste time. Associations are advised to begin preparing the necessary documentation and to discuss future projects with residents.
