Roto Window and Door Technology has launched its new Roto Square handle range for windows, sliding systems and external doors. According to the company, the new handles combine a cubic design with clearly defined edges and an ergonomic shape for comfortable operation.
The new range includes window handles in standard and extended versions, balcony door handle sets, narrow backplate handle sets, as well as dedicated handles for the Roto Patio Inowa, Roto Patio Inowa Max, Roto Patio Alversa and Roto Patio Lift sliding systems. This allows a consistent handle design to be used throughout different building applications.
Inken Kannchen, Product Manager for Handles at Roto Window and Door Technology, said that the new range retains a contemporary design with distinctive edges without compromising user comfort. According to her, the company has adapted the cubic styling to an ergonomic shape and applied this concept across the entire product range.
Selected models feature Secustik technology, which helps protect windows against attempts to manipulate the hardware from the outside. When the handle is turned, the mechanism produces a characteristic clicking sound that confirms it is functioning correctly. The range also includes lockable handles and push-button-operated handles for buildings requiring a higher level of security.
For sliding systems, the company has developed a handle that helps prevent accidental opening. To move the handle from the locked to the open position, the user must simultaneously press the release button.
Roto has also incorporated VarioFit technology, which automatically adjusts the handle spindle length to suit different profile systems. This enables manufacturers to reduce the number of stock-keeping units (SKUs) and simplify inventory management.
The standard Roto Square range is available in five colours: Traffic White, Jet Black Matt, Natural Silver, Titanium and Bronze. Upon request, the company also manufactures handles with special surface finishes.
