VIKNA STYLE TRADING and MIROPLAST (WDS brand) will upgrade a training classroom for installers and assemblers of uPVC windows and doors in Chernivtsi. The new training and practical centre will operate at the Chernivtsi Vocational Construction Lyceum. The announcement was made by Mykhailo Orlenko, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Manufacturers of Transparent Structures (UMTS), during the Association's General Meeting.
The initiative to establish the centre was launched by uPVC window and door manufacturer VIKNA STYLE TRADING and profile systems manufacturer MIROPLAST. Both companies are members of UMTS.
The project builds on the existing cooperation between VIKNA STYLE TRADING and the Chernivtsi Vocational Construction Lyceum. In May 2026, the educational institution signed cooperation agreements with VIKNA STYLE TRADING and Euro Windows, providing students with opportunities for industrial placements and internships.
Since June, the lyceum has also been enrolling Year 11 school graduates in a new vocational programme, "Installer and Assembler of uPVC Windows and Doors".
The classroom is scheduled to be upgraded before the start of the new academic year.
