Swedish company ASSA ABLOY has signed an agreement to acquire Gunnebo Entrance Control, an international supplier of entrance control systems. The announcement was made by ASSA ABLOY's press office.
Gunnebo Entrance Control manufactures speed gates, public transport gates and security revolving doors.
Founded in 1995, Gunnebo Entrance Control traces its heritage back to 1764. The company employs around 670 people. Its headquarters are located in Maresfield, United Kingdom, and it operates manufacturing facilities in Europe, the United States and Asia.

Following completion of the transaction, Gunnebo Entrance Control will become part of the Pedestrian business segment within ASSA ABLOY's Entrance Systems Division.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The parties expect to complete the transaction during the fourth quarter of 2026.
