NSG Group will present the new Pilkington Reflite™ Vista solar control glass at glasstec 2026. The trade fair will take place from 20 to 23 October 2026 in Düsseldorf, Germany. This was announced by NSG Group, which manufactures glass under the Pilkington brand.

Pilkington Reflite™ Vista will expand the company’s range of solar control glass. NSG Group developed the product for façade glazing applications requiring pronounced external light reflection and reduced reflections on the interior side.

The manufacturer applies the reflective coating to surface #1 — the external surface of the glass. This gives the façade a uniform mirrored appearance. At the same time, this coating position reduces light reflection inside the building compared with the traditional placement of a reflective coating on surface #2.

According to NSG Group, the increased external reflection also limits views into the building from outside during daylight hours. The manufacturer lists potential applications including administrative and government buildings, educational institutions, office and residential buildings, healthcare and research facilities, airports, transport hubs and hotels.

At glasstec 2026, NSG Group will also showcase other types of Pilkington architectural glass. These include Pilkington Suncool™ solar control glass, Pilkington Mirai Øne™ glass with a reduced carbon footprint, Pilkington AviSafe™ bird-friendly glass and Pilkington OptiView™ Ultra Protect anti-reflective laminated glass.

Saint-Gobain Glass previously introduced its new COOL-LITE SKN 155 solar control glass for façades. Architectural glass manufacturers are therefore continuing to expand their product ranges for solar control façade glazing.

In Ukraine, Pilkington architectural glass is represented by NovaSklo Trade, which has become its exclusive distributor.
