The ASSA ABLOY speedgate received the RedDot Winner 2024 award for design. According to the company, the minimalist design of the SG Expression is the result of efforts to combine security, functionality, and aesthetics.
The option to choose colors and materials facilitates the integration of the turnstile into various environments.
To ensure a smooth flow of people, the SG Expression has sensors and a control system. It is adapted for wheelchair users and baby strollers.
“Our mission was to create the perfect combination of security, movement, and emotions. The SG Expression not only breaks traditions with its elegant advanced technology but also pushes the boundaries of aesthetics and functionality,” commented Rogier Verwer, head of entrance security and revolving doors.
Previously, the SG Expression speedgate received another design award — the IF Design Award 2024.
