On July 18, 2024, the charitable project "United for Aid" officially opened a private house in Irpin built using 3D technology. This is the first 3D house in the Kyiv region. It also has a shelter room with an explosion-proof window.
The house has become a new home for the family Berezov, who lost the head of the family and their home during russia's full-scale invasion. "United for Aid," along with partners, completed the construction from laying the foundation to moving in.
Another feature of the house is the presence of a dual-purpose room for use during air alerts. The company "Vikna-Star" produced and installed the explosion-proof window of the second class of explosion resistance (EXR2).
It is made from Reynaers aluminum profile and Winkhaus fittings. The double-glazed unit, capable of withstanding high pressure and impact loads, was manufactured by Glas Trösch Ukraine.
Windows for other rooms were provided by the project partner, Glasso Facades & Windows.
It should be noted that the main task of explosion-proof windows is to prevent the formation of fragments under the influence of an explosion wave that could fly into the interior of the room.
