Pilkington has improved the flat glass panels of Profilit "one in 2". Instead of standard low-emissivity glass, laminated glass with a low-emissivity coating can now be used.
According to the company, coated laminated glass has a more neutral appearance and provides better transparency. The new glass does not alter the physical properties of Pilkington Profilit "one in 2".
The flat glass panels are centered and stabilized by special semi-transparent clamps.
Pilkington Profilit is an L-shaped alkali cast glass. It is semi-transparent and durable, designed for both exterior facades and interior glazing. It allows natural light to pass through while maintaining privacy.
The updated Pilkington Profilit "one in 2" system will be showcased to specialists at the international Glasstec 2024 exhibition in October in Germany. The Pilkington Profilit series was first introduced in Ukraine at the specialized "PRIMUS: Windows. Doors. Profiles" exhibition in 2010.
