Aestech has received confirmation reports from ift Rosenheim, an independent laboratory headquartered in Rosenheim that has been certifying and testing products and technologies for over 50 years.
In fact, ift Rosenheim defines and checks for compliance with standards for the manufacture, installation and operation of building materials, glass systems, panel structures, facades, etc. As part of the research conducted by the ift Rosenheim laboratory, Aestech double-glazed windows with the increased stiffness function have passed a number of tests for compliance with the standards.
High-strength double-glazed windows already have ift Rosenheim protocols - in 2022, they received confirmation of compliance with durability (EN 1279). This time, the 5209x6089 mm structure was tested for compliance with standards for air permeability (EN12153), moisture permeability (EN12155), wind load resistance (EN12179), and rain resistance under dynamic loading.
In the air permeability test, the glass system was assigned A4 class. According to the results of the moisture permeability test, the structure was assigned R7 class.
The system also showed good results during tests for
dynamic loads (positive and negative) and fracture tests. Finally, after the load test, a second dynamic test was conducted to simulate rain with gusts of wind - and again, the system performed perfectly.
