Yilmaz Makine has announced that it will showcase the enclosed version of the AIM 3410 CBN machining centre in Europe for the first time at Fensterbau Frontale 2026. The AIM 3410 CBN is designed for processing all types of aluminium and PVC profiles. The enclosed version of the machine previously received the Good Design and IDA Design awards in 2023.

The AIM 3410 operates on a CNC basis and features four axes. The machine processes the profile on three sides thanks to the fourth axis. The tool magazine accommodates seven milling cutters and a 180 mm diameter saw blade. The movable head reduces tool change time.

The cabin body is made of composite material. This design reduces weight and enhances operator safety. A light indicator on the cabin projects the working area boundaries onto the floor. A transparent polycarbonate window in the door enables process monitoring.

The machine features automatic clamp recognition and positioning. Four clamps securely fix the profile. A pneumatic support helps align the workpiece along the X axis. A cartridge-type lubrication system operates on the X, Y and Z axes.

Yilmaz engineers have developed a dedicated CAM programme for this model. The operator can simulate the process before starting work.

The low chassis and convenient clamp arrangement simplify profile loading. The electrical unit is positioned at the rear of the cabin to reduce the footprint. Compact dimensions help save workshop space.

At the exhibition, the company will also present other models for PVC and aluminium processing. Among them is the CDC 600 automatic double-head saw for compound angle cutting. The CCL 1662 line performs PVC corner welding and cleaning in a single cycle. The PIM 6509 MCS model combines cutting, processing and screw driving in one line.

Earlier, Schüco International KG reported on the development of machining centre production after concluding an agreement with Schirmer Maschinen GmbH for the manufacture of machining centres.
