The Interdepartmental Commission of International Trade has stopped the investigation into the import of PVC profiles into Ukraine. The reason for the termination is to end the terms. This was announced at the meeting of the Commission on November 2.
The special investigation began in September 2020↗️ and covered the years 2018-2021. The object of the study was window and door profiles and plastic window sills.
The initiators were Ukrainian manufacturers of PVC profile VIKNALAND, MAIADO, OPENTECK and MIROPLAST.
The Commission's message states that "the reason for the increase in imports was the reduction in the production and sale of similar goods by domestic manufacturers." Also, the cost of imported profiles exceeded the cost of domestic ones.
And from November 5, 2022, the investigation into the import of PVC profiles stopped ↗️ without the use of special measures.
