In March, VELUX has launched the production of controllers in Ukraine. This has reported in the company's press centre.
"The production of VELUX products in Ukraine is the first such experience for us, and we are proud of the benefits it can bring to the Ukrainian people and the economy in this difficult time," said Yurii Tkachenko, CEO of VELUX Ukraine.
VELUX Touch controls all VELUX products with electrical appliances. The KLR 300 is responsible for remote control of ventilation and sun protection through roof windows, curtains, and blinds.
The products will have exclusively manufactured at the production facilities of the American company Jabil in western Ukraine.
According to the company, VELUX Group closed its plant in russia in 2015 and, following the full-scale invasion, completely ceased operations in the russian and belarusian markets.
