From 1 January 2024, VEKA Ukraine will introduce a new system of window profiles SOFTLINE 76 AD. According to Alex Will, Commercial Director of VEKA Ukraine, the system will be partially produced in Ukraine and partially imported from Germany.
The release of the VEKAMOVE 76 sliding system, based on the SOFTLINE 76 platform, is scheduled for the first and second quarters of 2024.
Softline 76 AD PVC profiles have an installation width of 76 mm and two sealing contours. A window made of this profile can have a heat transfer coefficient Uw of 0.82 W/m²K when using a double-glazed unit with Ug = 0.5 and a warm edge. The profile itself has a heat transfer coefficient Uf = 1.2 W/m²K.
Maximum sash size (WxH): 1400x2500 mm.
Since the beginning of the year, VEKA has also withdrawn systems with an installation width of 58 mm from its range. The range of window and door profiles will start from 70 mm.
Among the new products on the Ukrainian window market also is the Reynaers Sunrise aluminium profile system, released specifically and only for reconstruction and renovation projects.
