Polish aluminium systems manufacturer Aluprof has expanded its range of sun protection products with the SkyTwin system, which combines a roller shutter and a fabric sunscreen.
The two-component guide is housed in a 180×260 mm box. Two independent electric motors ensure the operation of the roller shutter and the screen. The screen is manufactured using ZIP technology, so, according to the company, it can act as a mosquito net.
The system can be used in new buildings or in existing buildings after making changes to the lintel.
Ukrainian roller shutter manufacturer Gant has also used the idea of combining two products in one system. Their GANT Termo system of roller shutters with a hidden warm box can be additionally equipped with a mosquito net or a raffle blind can be used instead of a shutter.
