The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the World Bank are working to raise $500 million to support Ukrainian businesses in 2024. The Ministry of Economy reported this.
The government plans to focus on priority industries that generate additional GDP. These include the manufacturing industry and export businesses.
Work is underway to unite all programmes under a single Made In Ukraine brand.
The parties also focused on expanding the Export Credit Agency's capabilities to ensure war risks, including for small and medium-sized businesses. Other topics discussed included the modernisation of the 5-7-9% concessional lending programme and the possibility of encouraging Ukrainian banks to become more active in lending to businesses.
