Warema Group, which offers sun protection systems, has developed a solar storage device that allows shutters and awnings to be operated independently of the power grid using solar energy. This eliminates the problem of installation work if sun protection is installed later.
With the Becker SolarKit solar drive from Warema, there is no need for wall holes, electrical connections or cable routing.
The SolarKit consists of a DC drive, an integrated battery, and a solar panel. The battery charges even in diffused light or when the panel is not optimally aligned. With a fully charged battery, the sun protection system can be opened and closed more than 100 times.
The new product is being presented at the FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024 trade fair.
