Aluprof, a manufacturer of profile systems, in cooperation with WALA, a manufacturer of door hardware, presented an entrance door with a pivot axis at FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024. To demonstrate the capabilities of the profile system and door hinges, the Polish companies manufactured a large-sized structure.
The aluminium profile Aluprof MB-86N Pivot Door and WALA Pivot hinges were used.
The MB-86N system imposes restrictions on the sash height of 3400 mm and width of 2000 mm. And thanks to the offset axis of rotation, the Pivot hinges can withstand a sash weighing 500 kg.
The thermal insulation of the MB-86N Pivot Door Ud system is from 0.73 W/m2K. The profile has a low threshold (20 mm), which can be fully recessed to achieve a "zero" threshold.
According to WALA, the hinges are designed with the Aluprof MB-86N system in mind, so they do not require any additional adaptation to the profile. They are equipped with a cable gland that allows you to connect access control or handle illumination.
