The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine has approached the Ministry of Economy, requesting that the "window and door system installer-assembler" be included in the National Classification of Occupations.
Currently, the Ministry of Infrastructure is developing a professional standard for window and door system installers-assemblers, which will serve as a foundation for creating educational standards and relevant training programs. According to the ministry, this will "create favorable conditions for implementing thermomodernization and building restoration projects."
Earlier, the Ministry of Infrastructure conducted consultations with industry experts, including the "Ukrainian Association of Transparent Structure Manufacturers," and concluded that the profession, as defined, is highly important for market needs.
