The Italian producer of hardware and components for aluminium windows and doors, Master Group, has introduced NIX – a concealed handle for tilt-and-turn windows. It is embedded into the aluminium profile, emphasizing the minimalist design of the structure.
The designers at MasterLAB have removed unnecessary elements from the NIX handle to highlight the glass and profiles.
“NIX is a solution for those who wish to maintain the functionality of a tilt-and-turn system without a visible handle. It is made of zinc with mechanisms crafted from stainless and galvanized steel, available in a wide range of colours and special finishes that can be tailored to suit any window or door design,” commented Master Group's Technical Director, Lorenzo Lafronza.
Installing NIX is straightforward: the profile requires milling, after which the handle is secured with screws and pins, connecting it to the drive mechanism.
The product is designed for windows with ultra-slim profiles, accentuating their minimalism.
