The European glass manufacturer Pilkington IGP in Poland (part of the global NSG Group) has purchased a device for monitoring the concentration of inert gas in IGUs. According to Sparklike's press office, the company chose the portable Sparklike Laser Portable device.
Pilkington IGP uses the Sparklike Laser Portable directly on the production line. Thanks to this device, operators can quickly detect deviations and take action before the products leave the factory.
Sparklike’s Polish partner conducted training for the staff, and the device turned out to be intuitive to use.
Back in 2014, the Ukrainian window manufacturer Vikno Plus purchased the Sparklike Gasglass Handheld V2 analyser to dispel the myth that argon escapes from IGUs within the first one or two years of use. This device also allows gas measurement in IGUs with low-e coatings and laminated glass, but requires compliance with several conditions.
