These funds are planned to be used for equipping the training area with a modern ventilation system with heat recovery. This will improve the quality of the educational process and meet current construction standards, which is essential for training window and door installation specialists.
The total budget of the project currently amounts to approximately UAH 9 million:
- from the state – UAH 5.05 million within the framework of the “100 workshops” initiative aimed at establishing modern laboratories and practical spaces in vocational education institutions;
- the city of Kyiv – UAH 2 million;
- business partners – another UAH 2 million.
The training and practical centre is expected to be operational already this year.
Earlier, the Association “Ukrainian Producers of Transparent Structures”, in cooperation with the German institute ift Rosenheim and with the support of leading companies in the transparent structures sector, implemented another significant educational project: the publication of the “Guideline for planning and installation of windows and front doors for new builds and renovations” in Ukrainian.
