Over three years of the VidnovyDIM programme, 256.5 thousand m² of window area have been restored

Over three years of implementation of the VidnovyDIM programme, association of co-owners of apartment buildings (OSMD) restored 256.5 thousand m² of window area. This was reported by the Energy Efficiency Fund.

The Energy Efficiency Fund launched VidnovyDIM on 21 November 2022. The programme was supported by the EU in partnership with IFC and by the state. The programme helps OSMDs restore buildings after destruction while simultaneously strengthening energy efficiency.

According to the Fund, more than 1,200 projects have been submitted to the programme over the years of its operation. More than 900 facilities have already been completed. OSMDs received over UAH 1.7 billion in grants. Assistance reached 322,000 Ukrainians.

The Fund compensates 100% of the cost of materials and works. The limit is up to UAH 10 million per building. The Fund emphasises that this removes the financial barrier for OSMDs without accumulated funds.

Within the programme, OSMDs can repair or replace windows and doors. The programme also covers façades and roofs. It allows the repair of engineering networks and boiler houses. A separate stream covers the installation of individual heating substations (IHS), ramps and lifts.

The Fund notes that OSMDs may participate repeatedly. There is one condition — the total amount must not exceed UAH 10 million. At the same time, the amount of damage must start from UAH 1 million.

The next step for OSMDs may be the Enerhodim programme. It makes it possible to reduce energy consumption by up to 50%. The Fund believes this is important for the energy resilience of housing during the war.

Separately, the Fund reported on financing plans. In 2025, it expects an increase in statutory capital of UAH 240 million. According to the Fund, the Government adopted the decision on 20 November 2025. The draft budget for 2026 provides a further UAH 630 million for the Fund’s programmes.
