Aluprof SA has announced the addition of new rebated doors to the MB-45 system catalogue.
Rebated doors feature a rebate around the perimeter of the leaf. The edge of the leaf forms a projecting lip. The new doors have a flush surface between the frame and the sash. There is no increase in profile depth at the junction. This design creates a restrained appearance and neat geometry.
Previously, the company offered rebated doors separately in the MB-45S catalogue. They are now included in the standard MB-45 range.
The system covers sashes for internal and external doors. The manufacturer has prepared three types of new frames. Additional profiles are also available, including those for changing the opening direction. The set includes new Wala rebated hinges with two or three knuckles.
The profile design simplifies preparation in production. The grooves allow hinges, strikes and locking bolts to be fixed with minimal machining. This reduces manufacturing and installation time.
