Italian company Forel Spa has announced a milestone — 50 years of operation in the flat glass and insulating glass unit processing sector. The celebrations coincided with the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Italy.
The new production site is a strategic investment for the company. It increases manufacturing capacity.
Over the past half-century, the glass processing industry has undergone significant changes. Manufacturers are placing increasing emphasis on consistent quality, productivity and reducing manual operations. At the same time, requirements for production safety continue to grow.
Forel links its development to continuous improvement and investment in research and development. This enables the company to offer equipment that meets current market demands.
Earlier, Forel and Quanex introduced the automated DuraLine line for fast and precise insulating glass unit production.
Today, the company employs more than 280 people. Forel has four international branches and operates in 70 countries worldwide.
