Germany-based VEKA AG has expanded its range of Feinstruktur fine-textured decorative surfaces with two new shades. The range now includes Graubeige Feinstruktur RAL 1019 and Umbragrau Feinstruktur RAL 7022. VEKA AG announced the additions.
According to the company, around 35% of all VEKA profiles with decorative foil now feature a Feinstruktur surface. Matt grey shades are in the highest demand. Their appearance is similar to that of powder-coated aluminium windows.
VEKA states that the new colours are compatible in shade with widely used powder coatings on the market. This makes it possible to coordinate the colour of PVC windows with aluminium façade and door elements.
The company is also positioning the new surfaces for use in combinations of VEKA AluConnect and VEKA PURE systems. Thanks to the closely matched shades, PVC and aluminium elements can create a visually uniform façade.
Windows, façades and doors can be combined within this colour scheme. It can also include guide rails for roller shutters and external blinds, window sills, fall-protection elements and powder-coated door infill panels. This is particularly relevant for project construction, where different materials are often combined within a single façade.
Graubeige Feinstruktur RAL 1019 has a warm grey-beige shade. VEKA recommends combining it with wood, stone and exposed concrete. Umbragrau Feinstruktur RAL 7022 has a darker grey tone and is intended for façades with clearly defined geometry.
According to VEKA, Feinstruktur surfaces are resistant to mechanical and chemical effects, ultraviolet radiation and weathering. They also have properties that make fingerprints less visible and are recyclable.
Following the expansion, the VEKA Feinstruktur range now comprises ten colours.
