Solarlux glazed terraces are cold, frameless sliding systems (models SL20 and SL25) that protect against wind, rain and noise without thermal insulation.

Unlike a conservatory built from warm aluminium systems and insulating glass units, a summer terrace is a cold structure with frameless glazing made of ordinary (non-insulating) glass.

What the video shows

  • The division of structures into warm (conservatory, warm aluminium systems with insulating glass units) and cold (summer terraces, frameless glazing);

  • Solarlux SL20 — a roof system with sliding glass panels that park in a single zone;

  • Solarlux SL25 — glass panels that rotate 90° and gather in one place to open the terrace completely, with no corner post;

  • Terrace width up to 5 m without additional mullions, and depth up to 6 m;

  • Tempered glass 8, 10 or 12 mm thick;

  • A 2–3 mm gap between panels for natural ventilation, which can be sealed if needed;

  • A roof awning with manual or automatic control via a weather station.

These systems shield against wind and rain and extend the terrace season into late autumn, and with additional heating they stay comfortable even around freezing temperatures.
