Balcony repair and expansion

Balcony repair and expansion means building solid walls and adding insulation so that a balcony or loggia becomes a full, warm room.

The video shows a balcony construction method that uses a galvanised-profile frame and wall sandwich-blocks made on the company's own line.

What the video shows

• more than 20 years of experience in balcony construction and reconstruction;


• frame construction from light galvanised profiles, used since 2008; the structure is about 30% lighter and the build time is cut from weeks to a few days;


• walls made of sandwich-blocks from the company's own production line give a warm solid wall instead of a cold frame;


• the block contains basalt-wool insulation, a wind-and-moisture barrier membrane and metal façade panels with a polymer coating (ventilated façade);


• the sandwich-block is non-combustible and releases no toxic fumes in service;


• the method is designed for minimal load on the balcony's supporting slab.
