At the prosecutor's request, the judge of the Bratsky district court of the Mykolaiv region handed over the seized property to the National Agency of Ukraine for Identification, Search and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).
"Karpatnaftokhim" is the only suspension polyvinyl chloride producer in Ukraine. PVC used for extruding plastic window and door profiles. The plant, which located in Kalush, founded in 2004 and belonged to the Russian Lukoil. After falling under sanctions, it bought by another owner.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, the plant stopped production for martial law.
The property of "Karpatnaftokhim" seized not because of sanctions, but as part of criminal proceedings. Currently, a legal proceeding is underway on the fact of tax evasion in the amount of about UAH 2.2 billion and money laundering↗️. On a previous conspiracy, the plant did it with "FANLO HOLDINGS LIMITED" (Cyprus), "LUKOIL INVESTMENTS CYPRUS LTD" (Cyprus) and Lukoil Oil Company (russia).
In July 2022, 35 real estate objects of "Karpatnaftokhim" recognized as material evidence and seized. On October 21, they handed over to the ARMA administration.
