Ukraine and the United Kingdom have agreed on a Digital Trade Agreement. This was agreed on November 30 during a meeting in London. It is the first trade deal in the history of Ukraine focused on digital technologies.
The agreement, among other things, allows the use of digital signatures, electronic contracts and electronic invoices for international trade.
The agreements will be aimed at strengthening online consumer protection. It is planned to introduce legislation to prohibit misleading information.
The Ukrainian government expects that these steps will contribute to the development of the digital economy. Earlier, the UK reduced duties on all goods from Ukraine to zero to support the Ukrainian economy.
