Glass manufacturer NSG Group decided to modernize the next Pilkington IGP plant. The reason is the increasing demand for glass and double-glazed windows in the Polish market. The corresponding message was published in the press center of the company.
Pilkington IGP specializes in the processing of glass and the manufacture of double-glazing. The modernization will take place in the branch in the south of Poland, in the city of Sandomierz. The company plans to purchase two additional lines for the production of double-glazed windows. They will be installed in a workshop with an area of 5250 m2. Additional office and warehouse space of about 1000 m2 will also be built. The modernization will be carried out in stages.
The launch is scheduled for May 2023.
Earlier, the company doubled the capacity of its insulating glass plant in Ostrołęka, East Poland.
