The German Laumann Group has acquired a controlling stake in Ponzio Polska. The press centre of Ponzio reported about it. The Laumann Group includes the profile brands VEKA and GEALAN.
Ponzio Polska is a manufacturer of aluminium profile systems for the construction industry. It has one of the largest warehouses in Poland with four powder coating lines.
The Polish company comments on the acquisition as an opportunity to gain access to new markets. For Laumann Group, the acquisition means entering the aluminium segment.
Ponzio will be positioned as an independent business unit within the Laumann Group. The Italian company Ponzio Srl is not part of the acquisition and will remain independent.
The aluminium systems market also saw the merger of Greek companies ETEM and COSMOS Aluminium AE.
